My Baking Journey

I grew up in the Philippines where food was always at the heart of family celebrations. My passion for baking grew after moving to Australia. I missed the flavours of home, so I started experimenting in the kitchen. First attempts weren't perfect, but I fell in love with the process.

These days, I work as a nurse and bake on the side for friends and family. The two worlds are different, but both are about care and showing up for people.

The Great Australian Bake Off

Competing on the Bake Off was a chance to showcase my Filipino heritage in a way that felt personal. Every challenge became an opportunity to share a piece of my story and celebrate my culture.

Winning wasn't just about the title. It was validation that years of experimenting, failing, and trying again had led somewhere meaningful.
